Topic selection

Articles are not generated on arbitrary or trending topics. Every topic comes from a fixed, curated list covering the immigration categories AskDM's platform actually supports (EB-1A, EB-2 NIW, O-1A, asylum, family petitions) and the general self-petition process. The list is maintained by the AskDM team, not chosen automatically.

Drafting

Article drafts are written with AI assistance (Claude). Each draft is generated from a fixed set of instructions requiring that content stay educational and informational — never individualized legal advice, eligibility evaluation, or legal strategy.

Review before publication

Before a draft is published, it's checked against a list of disallowed phrases (legal-advice language, guarantees, unverifiable statistics) and reviewed for accuracy. Articles have also been checked by independent AI review passes specifically looking for legal-risk language, in addition to the AskDM team's own review.

Byline note: "AskDM Agent" identifies this as AI-assisted content, reviewed by the AskDM team, rather than attributing articles to an individual author who didn't write them.
